Borrow Mode
1 Which lending protocols does Swype support?
Currently Swype supports:
AAVE: Direct borrowing against your deposited collateral
Euler: Creates a subaccount for isolated risk management
HypurrFi on Hyperliquid (Now Live)
Swype now supports HypurrFi, a lending protocol on HyperEVM, exclusively accessible to top HypurrFi users. The same real-time credit experience will be extended to eligible users on HypurrFi, with all credit access routed through Brahma Infrastructure.
Note: You can only use one on the lending protocols for your Swype Card. In future versions we plan to allow for switching the chosen protocol.
2 Why do my assets move when I approve Euler?
When you approve an Euler position, a sub-account on Euler is created that you own. Swype only gets delegation rights to borrow on your behalf. This is documented in Euler's official documentation.
3 What happens when my credit limit is exhausted on AAVE?
Once the credit amount is exhausted, you need to reapprove as the system won't extend credit beyond the approval limit. This is a safety feature to prevent unauthorized borrowing.
4 How fast is the borrowing process?
When you swipe, Brahma Infrastructure instantly connects to the lending protocol, borrows USDC, and pays the merchant in real-time. The entire process happens within seconds.
5 How do I repay or manage my loan?
Borrowed funds are held directly in your connected lending protocol (Aave or Euler) on your wallet. To repay, simply visit the protocol’s UI, connect your wallet, and repay the borrowed USDC.
You can also deposit additional collateral to reduce utilization or increase your available Swype limit.
6 What happens if my collateral value drops?
If your collateral value falls below safe thresholds, your position may be liquidated by the lending protocol (Aave, Euler or HypurrFi). Swype does not intervene. Your position is entirely self-custodial and managed by the lending protocol logic.
Make sure to monitor your health factor and collateral levels. You can reduce risk by topping up your collateral.
To add collateral:
Go to Swype → Borrow Mode → Add Collateral, select a supported asset, and sign the transaction to delegate it to Swype.
7 Do I generate yield on the collateral used for Swype?
Yes. Your assets continue to earn supply-side yield directly from the lending protocol while they serve as collateral for your Swype borrowing.
8 Can I repay my loan or add collateral from the Swype UI?
Not currently. All loan repayments and collateral management must be done through the lending protocol’s UI (Aave or Euler).
Simply connect the same wallet you use for Swype to the protocol and manage your position from there.
9 My Available Limit is low. How do I add more collateral tokens and amount to use with my Swype Card?
You can increase your Swype limit in two ways:
Top up an existing collateral token
→ Deposit more of the same token directly into the lending protocol. Then in Swype, go to Borrow Mode → Add Collateral, select the token again, and sign to update your delegated amount.
Add a new supported collateral token
→ Deposit a new supported token into the protocol using the same wallet. Then, visit Swype → Borrow Mode → Add Collateral, select the new token, and approve it for use with Swype by signing.
