What is Karma?** Karma is a dynamic on-chain scoring system designed to reward users for meaningful on-chain interactions through the Brahma . * **On-Chain Score**: Each DeFi activity you engage in—such as deposits, swaps, or providing liquidity impacts your Karma score. * **No Capital Lockup**: Unlike other rewards programs that require locking funds, Karma grows organically through real usage. Your score increases with meaningful interactions, not based on how much capital you have locked. * **Weekly Refresh**: Every Monday at 4 PM UTC, your Karma score is updated, ensuring your current activity is reflected in your score. *** ### **Brahma Badges and Levels** **2. What are Badges, and how do they unlock levels?** Brahma Badges track your progress as you complete different on-chain tasks and activities through your account. They serve as milestones that guide you through increasingly complex DeFi actions. * **How Badges Work**: Each badge corresponds to a specific action or achievement, such as making deposits, executing swaps, or exploring multi-chain strategies. Completing these tasks earns you badges. * **Unlocking Levels**: As you collect badges, you unlock higher levels in the Brahma system. Each level comes with greater rewards and Karma boosts. * **Level 1**: Currently live, allowing users to earn badges for simpler actions like deposits, swaps, and referrals. * **Level 2**: Partially unlocked, offering opportunities for users to engage in bigger actions and multi-chain interactions, along with mystery tasks like sub-account exploration. * **Karma Boosts**: Reaching higher levels boosts your Karma score, multiplying it based on your achievements: * **Level 1**: 1.6x Karma boost * **Level 2**: 1.8x Karma boost * As you progress, you’ll unlock even higher boosts and unique badge challenges. Will previous Karma points be included?** Rewards are distributed based on your activity and accumulated Karma points. * **Ongoing Participation**: As you engage in activities like swaps, deposits, or referrals, your Karma points accumulate. These points will later be converted into rewards such, pushing you one step closer to Brahma incentives. * **Retrospective Rewards**: If you were previously part of the Karma Rewards program, your past points have been snapshotted.
